This page is required reading. If you have any questions at the end, email the artist, and she will answer them if the answer does not already exist on the site. If you decide to bypass the rules and artists wishes, you're only going to wind up hurting yourself, since once you have emailed the artist to begin work, you have by default agreed to these terms.

Now the rules..:
1.) All work accepted by the artist is considered to be "At Will" and this means that she has the right to decline or stop any and all works for any reason necessary.
Refunds will depend on the situation, and are up to the artist alone to decide.
• If the artist cant finish the work for personal reasons: A refund for the unfinished portion of the work will be issued, and incomplete work shipped.
• If the buyer has harassed, ignored the rules, or stole the artists credit: All work will stop, and no refund or art will ship.
• Gifts, Gift money, Tips, or Donations, will not ever be refunded. Only the cost of actual purchases, if they qualify.

2.) The "Buyer" is responsible for any and all reference materials necessary to complete the commission. It is not unreasonable to ask that buyers supply references since the artist does not charge an hourly rate to do the extra work hunting for the information on her own.

3.) Use your legal name and address. I don't accept commissions from fictional characters and need the information for my records. Some addresses could be sent verification letters via snail mail. This is at random, and if you refuse to comply your business will be refused.
Also, if you are requesting Adult Artwork, you must state that you are 18 years of age or older, and are legally allowed to view and purchase pornographic art when you send along your initial request.

4.) If you are buying art for someone else, or your own request contains someone elses characters:
• You need their permission to use their characters.
• You are the only one I am working with. This is a 2 person business contract between me and the buyer. All of your details with other people need to be worked out before hand. I can't even begin to tell you the confusion second and third party approvals create, so do not supply me with them. You and me, that is all I am interested in. This is the rule most often broken, and I am coming down hard on issues of non-compliance.

5.) On the topic of Fanart: Fanart is enjoyed from time to time, but it becomes a moral/legal issue if the amount of work requested is mainly someone elses intellectual property. The best advice that can be given, is that you ask and see how I'm feeling about it at that time. This had to be restricted because that's almost all I was getting for a time.
• Please do not come to me if you have an idea for mass publishing/for profit project that includes commercial characters you do not own. You are not legally allowed to do that with someone elses characters and I will not accept your business if you do not have written consent from the property owners.
• My personal characters: As of now, the answer is still *NO* regarding personal avatars, such as Cathryn, Lori, Red, and Keiwi.. but I may make exceptions for others I have in the future.

6.) Please do not prepare a long ridiculously worded description. I am not interested in your "writing skills". All I need are the basics to get the job done.

7.) The artist will not completely redraw something because it wasn't exactly what you envisioned. Please remember I will draw to the best of my ability, but I cannot peek into the depths of your mind, nor am I a xerox machine. You will only have one shot to go over the rough draft and pick out things that need changing. After that, I will correct things to the best of my ability, and then give you an updated scan. From there, I'm only required to finish the piece.
Also, be mindful that when you commission an artist, that you are asking for their individual take on your character/idea. Do not coach anatomy, and never ask that they imitate another artists style. Both actions are very disrespectful to all related parties.

8.) Regarding digital media, Some people may tend to think it's such an easy thing to go back over things and recolor, redraw, or redo anything because it's not on real media. Not so, and you will still be bound to the "One time" rule when it comes to rough draft approvals. If you want "just a badge" or "just a button" you still have to pay the rate for the "digital color sketch" as the same amount of work is going into it. If you want your image printed for button or badge use, please keep presentation in mind when you make your request, and do not let yourself become too focused on seeing full body shots. The farther the figure is, the less detail you'll see.

9.) Sometimes I will do a real media picture start to finish on cardstock, and sometimes I will start a sketch on a cheap sheet of printer paper and transfer it later onto the cardstock for completion. If the rough draft is still intact I may include it with your shipment, but keep in mind this is just a fun freebie that may not always happen. It is not covered in the cost, and you are not entitled to it.

10.) The artist does not correspond with buyers through msn messenger, aol instant messenger, yahoo messenger, ICQ, or mIRC. There will be no exceptions. Email only. Please see the contact info for the appropriate email address after you've read all of the guidelines and have seen the commission rates.

11.) Payments are to be made up front and in whole before work is seriously considered and accepted.
• Do not send partial payments, as they will be returned immediately.
• Anyone who goes silent on me when payment is due will be overlooked and probably not taken seriously the next time.
• If you are not sure what you want from me, or do not have the money till "next week" etc, wait and contact me when you are prepared if my commissions list is still open.

12.) No personal cheques or PayPal accepted. Please do not dispute this. Paypal states quite clearly in their T.O.S. that they do not want sites with a high level of mature works conducting business with their services, this does not matter if the purchase is for clean works. |Click here| to read more about Paypals T.O.S.

13.) Nothing will ship if payment is not received safely and in whole. If the payment is not in the envelope upon arrival, you will be asked to resend payment in order to continue. If you would like to view my Furbid seller history, please visit |This Link|.

14.) Do not assume you are permitted to publish or physically reproduce commissions you bought from me without prior arrangements. Likewise I wont assume to be allowed to digitally/physically reproduce or publish your commission work without your consent. If I get your consent to use the image you commissioned from me, you don't control when I stop using it. Buyers are permitted to post commissions they bought from me on their personal sites. Please do not remove my signature so people will know who created it.
I will negotiate prices with people looking to purchase artwork intended for reproduction.
